In addition they calculated statistics of the number of dams affecting their people, how many people have been displaced by these dams, and which rivers are heavily polluted. They then submitted these results to a local newspaper.

They distributed these materials on March 14th to create awareness about the number of dry rivers surrounding their district.

South AfricaPhotographic Essay Campaign In South Africa, groups GeaSphere and EcoDoc Africa teamed up to create a photographic essay entitled, "Thirsty tree plantations, not enough water and climate confusion: What version of sustainable development are we leaving our children?" Photographs in the booklet depict plantations with low biodiversity contrasted with the natural grasslands of South Africa which are rich in biodiversity, and extremely threatened.
