Revealing the Negatives of the Queen Pasa Dam
Communities such as Paso de Reina, Rio Verde, Tataltepec, and
Ixtlayutla mobilized against the Queen Pasa Dam. Activities
included several workshops where flyers and other
visual materials displaying the negative impacts of the dam were handed out and explained. Jalisco Showing the Struggle
A public event and demonstration in the city of Guadalajara was held to communicate the struggle against the Zapotillo Dam. Colima Dam Awareness Materials
Against the El Narajo Dam, the State of Colina designed stickers and buttons in preparation for March 14th. Chiapas Motivating by Media Medley Media including broadcast bulletins, radio spots, internet casts, meetings, briefings, seminars, and a whole week of campaigns were held in Chiapas for the Day of Action for Rivers.
On March 13th the Festival de las Resistencias that included a series of live musical performances collected aid to benefit organizations such as CECOP who are opposed to La Parota Dam. The festival was held in defense of water, land, labor, and compensation for dam-affected indigenous peoples.

On March 15th there was a protest outside the Authority of Public Services headquarters in opposition of the damage already caused by dams and against proposed hydroelectic projects in the country.
