Patagonia without Dams Campaign

Though the Day of Action for Rivers was March 14th, activists in Chile decided to postpone their actions until March 28th in order to devote their attention and support to Chileans affected by the earthquake that took place on February 26th. On the morning of the March 28th, participants took a bus from Coyhaique to Cochrane in Chile to hold a cultural, artistic, and spiritual festival . They used rafts and kayaks to explore the Baker River, while also offering a walk along the water. They encouraged people to jump into the river as a conclusion of their Day of Action for River activities.
