Questions to Theun-Hinboun Power Company

International Rivers sent a letter to the Theun-Hinboun Power Company (THPC) to clarify the issues regarding the Resettlement Action Plan on the Theun-Hinboun Expansion Project in July 27, 2009. THPC responded to our letter in August 2009.

Our report, “Expanding Failure: An assessment of the Theun-Hinboun Expansion Project’s compliance with Equator Principles and Lao law” is based on our field trip in May 2009, meeting with general manager of THPC, and THPC response to our letter.
