Campaigns Director
International Rivers is seeking a seasoned Campaigns Director to lead and manage a diverse suite of programs and campaigns in support of our mission. The successful candidate will be well-versed in river and hydropower issues, and have proven experience in planning and implementing environmental and/or economic justice campaigns in an international context. S/he will have demonstrated success in developing strategies, raising resources and managing budgets and personnel in support of programmatic goals. Amazon Campaigner - Brasilia
We are seeking a campaigner to work in our Brazil regional office, located in Brasília. This is a full-time position with an initial one-year contract with the possibility for renewal. The Amazon Campaigner will support the planning and implementation of collaborative strategies aimed at promoting sustainable energy solutions in Brazil, coordinate research and advocacy work concerning the role of the Brazilian National Development Bank (BNDES) in supporting dam projects in Brazil and neighboring countries, and lead the development and implementation of communications strategies for our Amazon Program. Co-Director or Campaigner, South Asia Program
International Rivers is looking for an experienced, skilled, dynamic Co-Director or Campaigner for our South Asia Program. The successful candidate will be well-versed in river and hydropower issues, and have proven experience in planning and implementing environmental and/or economic justice campaigns in the regional context. The preferred location of this full-time position is Mumbai or Delhi. The Co-Director or Campaigner will work with partner organizations in South Asia and other parts of the world, and with colleagues in our Berkeley headquarters and our regional offices around the world. China Program Coordinator
International Rivers is seeking a program coordinator for our China Program. The program coordinator plays a key role within the China Program team. The position will need a strong understanding of how environmental NGOs work in China, experience coordinating external English and Chinese language communications, and the ability to conduct high quality research and analysis. The position will involve frequent travel within China and other countries. The position will be based in either Beijing or at International Rivers’ headquarters in Berkeley, California.
